Ruby Designed for Growing Families
Custom home builder, Homestead Homes has started construction of the new Ruby display home in Butler Avenue, Kellyville.
The New HomeQuest designer home display village in Butler Avenue and Bruhn Circuit will include display homes from twelve leading Sydney home builders.
The new Ruby display home will be constructed over 32 weeks and is likely to open in Autumn 2015. Excavation is already underway for the integrated pool and spa, and construction of the home will start in the coming weeks.
As a prototype design, the Ruby design in Roma Road, St Ives, attracted great interest during both the construction phase and pre-sale, selling prior to auction in February 2014. The knock down rebuild project replaced an old weatherboard cottage with a luxury, five bedroom family home complete with multiple living areas, integrated pool and outdoor alfresco living.
The new Butler Avenue Ruby design now features the master suite on the first floor, bringing it closer to the children’s bedrooms. On the ground floor, a sumptuous guest suite has been created adjoining the home office/ study.
A popular feature of the Roma Road design was the extensive outdoor alfresco area and integrated pool, and these will be a feature of the new Ruby design. The private, weather-protected outdoor alfresco living opens from the rear family living areas and kitchen, creating an additional family living and entertaining area.
The new Ruby design will retain the open kitchen and family living areas that were so popular in the prototype home, with French doors separating the formal and informal living spaces.
With the open plan gourmet kitchen attracting fanfare in the Ruby prototype design, the new Ruby design will also feature a butler’s pantry and luxury designer appliances, making it ideal for the home gourmet cook or budding Masterchef.
