RUBY DISPLAY AHEAD OF SCHEDULE
Custom home builder, Homestead Homes’ new display home in Butler Avenue, Kellyville is ahead of schedule due to the level block and easy site access, despite Sydney’s recent wild weather.
The Ruby is a luxury, two storey, five bedroom family home complete with gourmet open plan kitchen and multiple living areas. The Ruby’s design includes a private, weather-protected outdoor alfresco living opening from the rear family living areas and kitchen, creating an extensive living and entertaining area.
Brickwork has been completed on both levels, and construction of the roof and windows is now underway to be finalised before Christmas. On return from the summer break, the house will be ready for interior gyprocking. The wiring, air conditioning and fit-out of the kitchen and bathrooms will be completed in February to enable interior painting.
The Ruby design includes an open entertainers’ kitchen with luxury designer appliances and a butler’s pantry, allowing the cook to keep the preparation area out of sight from the adjacent family and dining areas.
While the interiors are underway, landscaping will start around the pool, spa and outdoor alfresco area. Careful planning and the use of low maintenance plants will reduce the amount of work needed to maintain the garden. With the pool integrated into the home design, it’s important to carefully consider the trees and landscaping plants to avoid leaves dropping into the pool.
Once the house construction is completed, Homestead Homes’ interior designer team will customise the interiors in readiness for opening the display in Autumn 2015 as part of the New HomeQuest designer home display village.
